Headed South serves two groups of homeowners during a named storm event. 

Here is what each path looks like.

IF YOU HAVE A HOME WATCH AGREEMENT with Storm Response

You are already ahead. When a named storm is issued for Hillsborough County, we move — securing your outdoor items, operating your attached shutters at your written direction, coordinating your vendor if needed, and delivering a timestamped photo record of your property before the storm arrives. After the storm passes and roads are clear, we return, document all visible damage, and contact you directly before anything else happens. Nothing is scheduled or authorized without your approval.

Your member storm response rate is a named benefit of your agreement. Contact us or refer to your signed agreement for your rate.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A HOME WATCH AGREEMENT

Storm Readiness services are open to any homeowner in our service area — no ongoing agreement required. Choose your service level above, and we will show up, secure your property, and document its condition before the storm. Bundle #2 clients also receive a full post-storm return visit and an insurance-ready condition report delivered digitally.

Storm-only clients do not receive portal access, same-day storm texts, priority scheduling, or member pricing. Those are home watch agreement benefits.

WHY DOCUMENTATION MATTERS

After any named storm, your adjuster's first question is: What was the condition of this property before the event? A timestamped, photo-documented condition record answers that question. A neighbor check does not. We recommend reviewing your policy with your agent regarding documentation requirements for unoccupied properties — we are not insurance advisors, but we can provide the record that supports your position.

NO GENERATOR SERVICE — EVER

Headed South does not operate, fuel, start, or attend portable generators under any circumstances. Generator operation requires a licensed electrical contractor. We will refer you to a licensed provider upon request.
